I was at the press conference on Tuesday when William Saliba was interrogated from his future and what could not be denied in his answers was the strong feelings he had towards Arsenal.
This was the truth when he talked about being a fan of the club as a child, which he says is behind the wild celebrations we see from him whenever the team scored a goal.
But these feelings will not go to this extent, and for this reason, until a new contract is signed, the fans will be excited about its long-term future-especially with Real Madrid waiting in the wings.
Assured me Saliba When I asked that the talks had not yet started on a new deal. “There is no impulsion,” he said.
Somehow, he is right. He was in the last year of his contract when he fell in his last extension, in 2023. We are far from that now, so the need for an immediate signature is less urgent.
But Arsenal fans will be desperate to sort things sooner and not later because any longer talks will become the club’s position weaker.
We all know how Real Madrid works. Look just to what is happening with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool now.
Madrid loves a free transportation and they have shown before they are ready to play the long game for their big goals if that means that they can get it for nothing.
Saliba’s loss of free will be disastrous for Arsenal. He is the best young back in the world. Its value is huge. So this cannot be allowed to simply happen.
We will have to wait and see how things develop as soon as the club’s new sports director, Andrea Berta. The sorting of Saliba, Bocaio Saka and Jabriel Majalil contracts should be at the top of his priority list.
Saliba’s comments on Tuesday were definitely encouraging, and it is clear how strong his desire to win prizes in Arsenal.
“If you leave this club without winning anything, the fans will forget about you,” he said. “I want to win big things here.”
This is a kind of phrases that fans want to hear, but I do not see things that are sorted quickly. I can see things wandering a little, as I did the last time.
Saliba will carry the cards that take place talks, and this is his position in the game now and the level of clubs that will be interested in attracting it away.
Therefore, Arsenal will have to show that they can match his aspirations. The next 18 months will be very crucial for that.
I will be honest, I can’t get my head about many criticisms delayed by Martin Odegaard.
It is definitely to criticize some of his performance because, as he admits himself, he was not good enough to compare the noble standards that he has set over the past two years.
But some criticism has exceeded that. Was it out of color? Yes. Was it terrible? Certainly no.
When you evaluate the Odegaard model, you should think of a little context.
The right side of the attack that it is accustomed to and its success has been completely eliminated.
Ben White came out months ago, as well as Bocao Saka. Odegaard’s relationship with almost these two is almost risk and was an integral part of Arsenal’s return over the past few years.
With both Saka and White absent, Odegaard had an attempt to adapt to playing with other players and form these relationships take some time.
He has also returned from the first major injury in his career and is still not convinced that he has completely recovered. He returned amazingly early from that injury and was thrown again directly to the beginning of the eleventh immediately.
We will never know if we see a major impact on that now, but this will not surprise me if we are.
Odegaard is also the only creative player in the team now. This is only a great responsibility on his shoulders.
He got a lot of stick after Manchester United at the end of last week, but he didn’t have much to work with him. He had the wings on both sides who had really poor games and had a central midfielder playing as a striker in front of him. So it is not a real surprise that he struggled a little.
Arsenal player Odegaard has been voted this season for both the past two seasons, as well. He has struggled to maintain this model this season, but any talk about his replacement at this stage is ridiculous.
I am convinced that we will see him returning to his best soon.
I have seen everything that Bruno Gaimara is talking about, which is not something that is able to confirm at this stage.
With the arrival of Andrea Berta, I am sure that we will see many players associated with Arsenal, especially the players who may have had an interest in him before.
We know that Arsenal is working hard to put himself in the front of the waiting list for Martin Zobimi and we hope that Burta’s arrival at the club will help get this line in the summer.
I will be surprised if we see another midfielder of this type of status as well, given the clear need to greatly enhance in the front areas.
I know that Jorginho and Thomas Partey will leave, but the signature of Zubimendi and Bruno in the same window looks like it extends for me.
Bruno is a high -quality player, but with Rice Deklan, I am not really sure of a need. If Arsenal will add another midfielder as well as Zubimendi, it is better to be a more creative type, someone who can share the burden with Odegaard sometimes.
This is a profile for the player I don’t think they have enough in the team. They left Emile Smith Rowa and Fabio Vieira last summer and they were never replaced.
This was a mistake in my opinion, and I would like to see this that was corrected this summer.

I am not sure Links of rational Leroy.
It was clear that he was a great player, but he will be thirty years old next year and his wages will be huge. I don’t think this is the type of option that a arsenal should have in the summer, even if it is a free transfer.
I can see some meaning in the interest of Joshua Kimmeich because of the type of player he is, but I do not see that he was sane.
Arsenal does not need a new suite. Certainly, there are potential to bring a promotion to Jabriel Martinelli, but for me it should be a long -term option.
A person like Niko Williams is completely logical to me, or even Antoine Siminho in Bournemouth. Both of the two explosive wings who have not yet reached their climax.
You cannot say this for a sane. His best days are behind him, and Arsenal has been burned in the past by making such signatures.
It is something that they stay away from and it is better for that as a result.
So it does not excite me, I must admit.
