SAFAri Update now shows modern searches: Here is how to turn it out

Safari performs your previous searches more difficult to ignore, thanks to a small but noticeable change in the latest iOS 18.4.1 update: modern search operations are now prominently displayed in a list.

The feature, also available in the latest iPados updates, aims to facilitate the discovery and reconsideration of previous searches. Although this information has always been stored in your search record, Apple is now leading it to the forefront by displaying modern searches every time you click on the search bar.

However, at the same time, he may feel chaos or raise privacy concerns for some customers.

The list of modern searches includes the “Clear All” option, which removes entries, but new operations will continue over time.

How to turn it off

To completely disable the feature, here is a quick guide:

Go to Settings> Applications> Safari, Then switch Display the last searches.

It should be noted that Safari will continue to store your search record – will not appear in the list.

To prevent searches from keeping them, open a special browsing window by clicking on the tab button and switching to the special section.

To delete the full browsing record, go to Settings> Applications> Safari> Distory and Website Data, then choose to what extent you want to wipe it.
