Rubio comes out of Ukraine’s war talks because some of the United States stop shooting

The talks between the United States, Ukraine and European officials stumbled to end Russia’s war in Ukraine on Wednesday when US Secretary of State Marco Rubio suddenly abolished his trip to London.

Rubio prompted not to offer a broader meeting to foreign ministers from Ukraine, Britain, France and Germany, although the talks continued at a lower level. The United States will now be represented by its Ukraine envoy, General Keith Keel.

Speaking upon his arrival in London with foreign ministers and defense, Ukrainian presidential adviser Andre Yermak said the talks will focus on ways to achieve a full and unconditional ceasefire as a first step for peace.

“Despite everything, we will work for peace,” he said on social media.

The meeting is a follow -up to a similar session in Paris last week, where we discussed US and European officials to move forward and tight.

Last week, Washington proposed the establishment of a neutral zone at the nuclear power plant in Zaburizia, Ukraine, which is occupied by Russian, according to European diplomats. Zelinski said on Tuesday that he would be ready for partnership with the United States to restart the factory.

Witkoff was not part of the London conversations. But on Washington’s parallel path for diplomacy with Moscow, he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week in Russia, the White House said.

Putin indicated comments on Wednesday that Russia intends to increase military production in the fourth year of its war in Ukraine, and even holds talks about the possibility of ending the conflict.
