The Sudanese city of Al -Fashir has been largely suspended from the outside world for a year as a result of the country’s civil war, which started two years ago. It is the last stronghold of the Sudanese army in Darfur against the semi -military rapid support forces (RSF).
Mostafa, Hafiza and Managel are the city’s residents who wanted to photograph their lives for the BBC. In many videos they sent, the bombing sound can be heard and shooting in the background.

Their footage was recorded between August and November, and while they all decided that it was very dangerous to stay in El Fasher and left the city.
