Colin Moreikawa launched media members who criticized his decision to rid the correspondents after they failed to close Arnold Palmer’s victory on Sunday.
The main hero was twice in three individuals with five holes to play in Bay Hill and is about to win the first PGA round since October 2023, only to stumble along the closing extension and reach second place behind Russell Henley.
Moreika was refused to speak to the post -role media and defended his decision to accumulate the players, and he told the journalists at his press conference before the tournament that he was “just p *****” and “he does not want to speak to anyone”, before adding that he was “debtor to anyone.”
Former PGA TOUR player Rocco Mediate described the decision as “most of the selfish garbage that you can say” in his radio program, while Paul McGajleli and Brandel Champli criticized Maurica’s behavior during the “Live From” program in the players.
Moreika was accused of competition at the PGA TOUR’s pavilion event after 65 of the second round, and raised it as part of two strikes in the club, where he used the post -round interview to summon the individuals who questioned his behavior.
“I just want to add something else,” said Morikaua at the end of the post -role. “I have bitten my tongue after I say this, but for Brandel Chambels, to Paul Mcjinles, to Rocco in the world, I do not regret anything I said.
“It may have been a little harsh that I have no debtor, but I have no debtor.
“I respect the fans. I am very grateful to them. I am grateful. It makes me emotional, but it is painful to hear people say this (criticizes), especially comrades (the media), because I finished the tour and went to go for 10 minutes, 15 minutes for all people yet.
“No one of the media went to go to follow me because I do not know. But that is me. So people call me – it’s interesting. It does not appear.
“I get what you say, comrades. But I was there. I expected every person immediately after the tour, whether they wanted it or not. I finished second place. They couldn’t take less. But yes, I will leave it well?”
Morikawa’s Media Snub: “Do not forgive” or a growing problem?
“Most things in the media are like, 98 percent of what we say is very positive about the players,” said Mac Jinley during the coverage of Sky Sports, following the Maurica quotes.
“We (Brandel Chamblee and I) dealwa comments that we felt that he was facing a duty, taking into account the huge amounts of money they play at the present time and also the importance of the media in the game. You have a duty, even if it is a small sound.
“The great players in the history of the game have always conducted Tiger Woods – and you can criticize them in different ways – but what he has never ever at any stage, even in his defeats, was an interview.
“I made it clear – to be about many companies and many people in the audience – how there is true indifference to the current crop of players who need to be aware of them.
“The codes of behavior are important and the standards are important. I am a little worried that new rules could be created. This was the point that we grew up on. It was very wide and it was more collective than anything else.
“Colin had an opinion, and that is good. I mean, I am a big boy. We can take it. It is not Baiji, but most of these things are detonated.”
“When it explodes in the tournament, we have all done it over the years, and the only thing you have to do is to confront the confrontation,” added Mrs. Laura Davis.
“You cannot take all the glory of the victory if you are not ready to stand there and explain the place where it was wrong, whether it is, whether someone has grabbed you. For the emptiness of the media, in his position, I think it is not forgiven.
“I am with Paul (McGinley) and Brandel (Chamblee) – this is the only thing that you must do. I used to be concerned for Caddy, anyone else after I did the press thing, but this is what I issued in tension. Just to empty them, this is not a good thing.”
