Patrick Mahomes reveals details about his wife Brittany’s pregnancy

Netflix shared a clip of the interview on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, where Patrick revealed that his wife is due to give birth “any day now.”

“Brittany says I put a lot of pressure on her this season,” he added. “So I had to try not to put too much pressure on her during those soccer games.”

After the Chiefs won, Patrick participated in an on-camera interview, where he joked that Brittany could go ahead and give birth now that he was promised victory. “I told my wife — my pregnant wife — that I was going to get her the first seed so we could have this baby. We got the first seed,” Patrick joked.

In response to Patrick’s quote, Brittany shared a heartfelt moment on her Instagram Story, posting a photo of the two of them with the caption, “He always keeps his promises,” accompanied by a smiling, teary-eyed, and heart emoji.

With Brittany just days away from giving birth, it’s no surprise that she chose to stay home and enjoy Christmas from the comfort of her living room. Surrounded by her other children, she opted for a relaxing game day experience, cheering on her husband and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates from the sideline of the television.

“Baking and watching Daddy,” she wrote via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 25.

In the photo, Brittany and her 3-year-old daughter Sterling were wearing beige and white flannel pajama sets as they baked together in the kitchen. Patrick’s mother, Randy Mahomes, and younger sister, Mia, joined the celebratory scene, creating a warm and cozy family moment before the big game.

While Patrick wasn’t home for Christmas this year, he did give some insight into what a typical holiday looks like in the Mahomes household.

“Christmas with the Mahomesies is a lot of chasing kids,” he told Adams in the Netflix clip. “Santa leaves surprises for the kids. Seeing them grow up and understanding what the holidays are about; I’m making those traditions now. I hope I have some of what I will have for the rest of my life.”
