Patron says that the partnerships are designed to make the site home to the participation of fans and exclusive privileges of offers from the main podcast networks, as the company is looking to expand beyond the current podcast base.
The deal means that Patriion will now present some big names for the podcast industry on its platform. The addition of Patrion’s big partners will allow the program between other platforms that also support the vocal materials. As for Sony and Wondry, the partnership allows them to bring its content to more people to expand their podcasts.
As a result of partnerships, PodCasts Slect will be available from Sony Music and Wondry on Patreon, including: “Improvement with Jonathan Van Ness”, “Lipstick on the RIM” and “This is History” from Sony Music; “Scamfluences”, “Killer Psyche” and “Kurt Krömer – Feelings” from Wondry.
Patrion said that PodCaster on its platform got more than $ 472 million out of more than 6.7 million paid membership last year, which made podcasts the individual category of creativity on the platform.
“From independent offers to networks, PodCaster Patreon chooses because they can share their work directly with their fans, access to new fans, depth of communications with the current members, and manage their business, and in the end earn more money – all under one roof,” the company wrote in AA Blog post.
