Paris Jackson reveals her addiction to alcohol and heroin
Earlier this week, Jackson took to her Instagram feed to share a photo video With more than 5.4 million followers. Jackson wrote in the comment on her post:
“Hi, I’m BK and I’m an alcoholic and heroin addict. Today marks 5 years of being clean and sober from all drugs and alcohol. To say I’m grateful would be a bad euphemism…”
As she continued to talk, Jackson explained that gratitude “barely scratches the surface.”
“…Because I’m sober I can smile today. I get to music. I get to experience the joy of loving my dogs and my cat. I get to feel heartbreak in all its glory. I get to grieve. I get to laugh. I get to dance. I get to have confidence. I get to feel the sun,” she continued. On my skin and it’s warm.” “I’ve found that life keeps happening regardless of whether I’m sober or not, but today I have to show it…”
Before concluding her message, Jackson told her fans that she was sharing a “small snapshot of what was possible” because of her sobriety.
“Oh my God, I can’t believe I almost missed everything,” she added.
