In March 2013, Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergolio of Argentina delivered a letter of approximately four minutes at a closed door meeting in the Vatican before he was elected the next title. The short notes, depicting a church that came out of the isolated comfort areas and its self -reference habits, exceeded significantly.

When the Cardinals voted in the Sistin Church a few days later, they chose him to drive the road forward, and he appeared as Pope Francis.

On Monday, after hundreds of thousands of believers came to the funeral and burial of Francis during the weekend, the Cardinate will start a critical week of these meetings, as the church leaders, including those who are considered Bababili, or the Pope materials, will present brief data on the main issues facing the church. These meetings started the next day to died Francis, but they will now get a severity, to become a short path in the campaign that leads to Conclave next month.

They give Cardro – especially those under the age of 80, who can vote in Conclave – an opportunity to feel each other and measure the priorities of the charisma agendas and attractiveness. Meetings, so -called public gatherings, are also a forum for potential lines. The first rule of papal campaigns is that there is no papal campaign. In other words, self -overcoming and transparent policy is a taboo in the campaign of non -campaign.

Or, as Vatican experts like to say: Everyone who enters the range when the Pope comes out of the Cardinal.

Not always, though. In 2005, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, who was then the Dean of the College of Cardinals, gave return from the funeral of Pope John Paul II – calmly denounced “dictatorship for relativity” – then entered the scope with momentum and appeared on the balcony like Benedict XVI.

In this case, the sermon was delivered at the Francis funeral on Saturday by the Cardinal Giovanni Batista, the current dean of the Caralades College, who cannot in 91 years to vote on the side and is not considered a reasonable option. However, he seized the moment to put his thumb on the scale, pointing to the enormous crowds attracted to the Caresma Francis and the Church’s vision because he made an implicit argument that his Cardinal colleagues need to choose someone in the Francis template.

“The Pope was also attentive to the signs of the times, and the Holy Spirit was waking up in the church,” said Cardinal Rai.

Francis did not have a peak time platform for the grandfather’s speech. Instead, his colleagues’ admiration for his humility and clarification of his observations in public gatherings. Bishop Paul Gallagher, head of his Vatican prices and a close assistant to Francis, said in an interview with him recently referring to his political skills, including on the world stage. “He loves politics completely. It is not strange to him.”

This year’s Conclave can start early in May 6, and the challenge for potential candidates heading to this week’s meetings is to be adept as Francis to win support without looking for him. They also need to find the correct message at the present time, about whether it should be followed or jumped in the footsteps of Francis. Francis has been named many Cardinals who will vote by Francis in remote countries- “Parties,” Let them-which does not usually contain such high-level bishops. Some Vatican experts said that it could benefit the big candidates, such as Cardinal Luis Antonio Talab from the Philippines, which is sometimes called “Asian Francis.”

there are many Other competitorsIncluding some who are more progressive, others are more conservative.

Publicly anyway, papabylmal Cardia is usually low, allowing the allied queens to do dirty work, but they cannot calmly walk so that they do not leave any sign.

On Sunday, Cardinal Petro Barolin, who was second in Francis, and many in the Vatican as a strong candidate, viewed him in the Saint Peter Square to about 200,000 in a special bloc of young people. But dozens of Cardinal voters were there too.

It is liked in Francis. “We must welcome its legacy and make it part of our lives,” he said.

Cardinal Parolin knows the world well at a time when it was flowing. He also knows that many Cardinal voters implemented Francis’s vision, but he is seen as more measure, which may make him more capable of the large mass of moderate voters. It is Italian, and it is a possible help because there is a feeling that the Italian Cardinate – and some other Europeans – want to break from the limbs. A man from the Vatican, Cardinal Perbin, was seen, as was the least hostile from Francis to Korea, the Roman bureaucracy that runs the church.

On Sunday, the youth of the crowd on the Mass on Sunday were less interested in the internal work of the Vatican than the Pope’s presence to inspire them.

“More inclusion,” said Lara Capcheli, 19, from the Pidmont area in Italy.

On Sunday, the correspondents were asking the Vatican spokesman when the flavor started. He said he does not know.

This, too, is something that will only be determined by public gatherings.
