Officials say that the former Yanxiz player died from the first carbon monoxide

The Costa Rican authorities said on Thursday that Miller Gardner, the 14 -year -old son, Yanxiz Brett Gardner, has long died due to carbon monoxide poisoning while he was on vacation with his family last month.

After his death, he found high levels of carboximoglobin, an indication of the first carbon monoxide, according to a statement issued by Randal Ziona, director of the Costa Rica Judicial Investigation Agency. He said that the Miller Gardner test showed 64 percent saturation, adding that anything more than 50 percent was fatal.

Mr. Zúñiga said that other tests were also performed, including drug tests, but it was negative. He said that the autopsy report found signs of poisoning on carbon monoxide poisoning on the organs, adding that the case could be considered closed.

Miller and his family were staying at a resort in Costa Rica. The family said in a statement issued by Yanxiz last month that Miller died on March 21 “after he fell ill with many other family members during their vacation.”

“He died safely in his sleep,” the family said.

The authorities said that the family was staying in Manuel Antonio, a resort area on a coast of the Pacific Ocean in Costa Rica.
