Nuno Espereto Santo, Nutingham Forest’s director, described the final extension of the Premier League season as defining his profession for his team, as he prompted the club to secure an unprecedented place in the Champions League.
Currently in sixth place, Forest remains firmly in this mix for the best five times, with the latter enough to qualify for the next season’s competition.
A positive result in their upcoming match against Brentord in City City on Thursday, can raise them to one of the qualification sites, with only four games remaining.
“All games are the largest games in our career, this is how we deal with it,” Nuno said.
“All games will be very important for many teams in this battle. We have another one, let’s try well.

“We have never stopped faith, regardless of what is happening. Throughout the competition, we passed good moments and bad moments and we were able to respond and again it’s up to us again.”
Forest, a club with a lot of European history that includes the European Cup victories, has appeared in the first continent’s competition since the 1980-81 season.
After leaving the FA Cup in the semi -finals by Manchester City, their focus is now in the league.
Despite the pressure, Nuno insists that his team focuses on one game simultaneously, starting with Princeford.
“We are only thinking about Berostford now, this is the only thing that we should now think about in our minds, is the competition against them,” he said.
“It is in our hands, this is a great advantage.”
