Wendelstedt is the son of Harry Windstedt Jr. , That rules for 33 seasons, from 1966 to 1998.

The Wednesday game between Mets and Twins is the last plate in a series of three games. The Mets 5-1 team won on Monday, and the twins won 6-3 on Tuesday to create a rubber match.
At the time of this report, twins and Mets are linked 3-3 at the bottom of the eighth half.
