Max Versaben claimed that people were unable to “deal with the full truth” was part of the reason that he could not explain his dissatisfaction with receiving a decisive penalty during the Saudi Grand Prix.
The ruling world champion, who started in the pole in Jeddah, was punished to leave the path and gain an advantage during the first corner accident with the winner, Oscar Pastari.
McLaren got better than the second place on the network and pulled it alongside Verstapen on the interior, and at this point the Dutch refused the return, but instead he used the procedural flow area to keep men.

“I think it’s better not to talk about it. Anything I say or try to say, may excite me into trouble.”
When asked if he is frustrated from having to his tongue, Verstapen added: “I think he is the world in which we live in.
“For me, it is better if I don’t need to say a lot, it also provides my time, because we already have to do a lot.
“It is frankly how everything has become. Everyone is very sensitive to everything. After that, of course, what we have now, we cannot be embellished anyway. So, this is good and less modern – better for me.”
Different rules this year?
In a post -race interview with Sky SPORTS F1Verstapen was asked how the accident different from the accident in which he participated with Lando Norris in the United States’ Grand Prix race last year, which witnessed the punishment of McLaren’s driver for the same crime.
Verstapen has allegedly alleged that the change in drivers standards for this season means that accidents cannot be compared.

In their official ruling written in the accident, the referees said that while PiaSSTRI – as a car exceeded – had been withdrawn before Verstapen, the instructions mean that he owns the angle.
The referee said: “The referees reviewed the data of the GPS/Mard, the video, the timing, the measurement of distance, and the video guides inside the car, and they decided that the car 81 had its front axis at least alongside the mirror of the car 1 before and the corner top 1 when trying to exceed the car 1 inside.
“Based on the guidelines of the driver’s standards, it was the CAR 81, and he was entitled to get a space.
“The car was left 1 track and gained a permanent feature that was not returned. The 81st car remained and sought to build on the feature.”
Horner: Perhaps the rules need to reconsider
The director of the Red Paul Christian Horner team was ready to go to more details about the reason he felt that the decision was unfair, as he appeared to surround the post -race with a remote measurement that supports his argument.
He said: “I thought it was very harsh. We did not give up this position because we did not think that we had made any mistake. You can see clearly at the top of the angle that we believe that Max is clearly in the forefront.
“I cannot see how the rulers reached this conclusion. Both of them went at the same speed. Oscar runs deep into the corner, Max cannot disappear at this time period.
“These rules may need to be reviewed. I don’t know what happened to” let them race “in the first lap. It seems that this has been abandoned.”
Horner added that the government’s certainty of their conclusion means that it is “very unlikely” that Red Paul will appeal against the ruling.
He also explained that the decision to risk to receive the punishment instead of giving up the place was affected by the threat of Red Ball, the perception of George Russell, in the Mercedes in third place.
“If we had abandoned it, we would run in the dirty air and then we were in danger with George,” Horner said. “Therefore, the best thing he did, at that point, we got a penalty, get your head, and continue to continue.”

PiaSSTRI, who became the leader of the world championship for the first time in his career by demanding his third victory for this season, was equally certain that the referee was properly issued in his favor.
“I got a great launch and got myself,” the Australian said. “From this point, it is clear that I had a very late brake, but I learned that I have enough car besides going to the corner.
“Obviously, we are both very late, but I think, for me, I have turned late as much as I could while staying on the path. I think how to reveal is how it should have been dealt with.”
CEO of McLaren Rising Zach Brown said Versaben “definitely” deserves a penalty after he chose not to give up the angle and the situation.
“I definitely thought a penalty you deserve. Oscar was clear inside, getting a better start, and you know that you need to use the race track,” Braun told Sky SPORTS F1.
“Whether it is a five secondary penalty kick or restore the situation, I think it might go in any of the two directions. I thought it was definitely appropriate. It was an Oscar angle, and at some point you have to waive it.”
Brundle: It was PiaSSTRI Corner
While commenting on the accident, Martin Brundel of Sky SPORTS F1 was designed that VersabPen deserved a penalty, and stood up after the race.
Brundel said: “Oscar entered the first corner, and entered the first summit – and I read the rules for the year 2025 – and he had that angle.
“But if your competitors want to get out of the brakes – and if you look, there is not a lot of guidance – Max did not really try to go outside.
“He lost that angle, and he should have returned again.
“I think the team should have handed over the place directly. I think it was clear that it would take a punishment for that, then I think they might have an opportunity to win the race.”
