Manchester United announced plans to round after the season in Asia a few days after the end of the Premier League season.
The first player is scheduled for May 28 in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, just three days after United’s conclusion against Aston Villa on May 25.
The team will then face a team of Asean all stars before heading to Hong Kong at its next stop.
The tour is expected to generate about 8.5 million pounds and comes at a time when the club is looking to reduce the pain of a loss of 300 million pounds during the past three years, according to its financial reports.
Director Omar Perrada tried to play this occasion, admitting that he is necessary for the club.
He said: “The tour equipment pays great additional revenues, which helps to make the club stronger, which allows us to continue to invest in success on the field.

“They also create unique opportunities for us to cooperate with our valuable commercial partners, deepen relations with our fans in areas such as Asia and the United States
“We appreciate the amazing level of Manchester United support all over the world, and this summer we are happy to provide a schedule that provides our fans in Asia, Scandinavia and the United States the opportunity to communicate with the club and watch the first men to live in local places.”
The decision to add these matches after the season will undoubtedly raise concerns about the player’s fatigue, especially given the next request season.
United will play at least 57 games by the end of the 2024-25 campaign, with a total rise to 60 if they arrive in the European League final in Bilbao on May 21.
Immediately after the Asian tour, many United players are expected to submit reports on the international duty between June 2 and June 10. This narrow schedule leaves only a little recovery time, as pre-season activities for the 2025-26 season begin shortly after.
United’s preparations for the new season will start with a friendly against Leeds in Stockholm on July 19. The Premier League season is scheduled to start 2025-26 on August 16.
