The Malaysian Cabinet approved a new search for the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines Malaysia MH370, after more than a decade of the disappearance of the plane.

The research will cover an area of ​​15,000 square kilometers in the southern Indian Ocean, according to an agreement “No, no fees” with Ocean Infinity.

The company will receive 70 million dollars (56 million pounds) if the debris is found, and the Minister of Transport Luke Sew Fook announced.

The MH370 journey in 2014 disappeared with 239 people on board while traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Her disappearance is one of the greatest flying secrets in the world, which is still chasing the families of passengers.

The governments of the three countries concerned – Malaysia, Australia and China – said that the research will only resume “must show new reliable evidence” of the plane’s location.

The search for debris has ended by Ocean Infinity 2018 under similar conditions to no avail after three months.

The disappearance of the plane led to a group of conspiracy theories, including speculation that the pilot had deliberately shot down the plane and claimed that it was shot down by the foreign army.

The investigators said at the time that “the answer can only be conclusive if the debris is found.”

Among the passengers were people of more than ten countries: a little less than two thirds of Chinese citizens, followed by 38 Malaysians, with others from Australia, Indonesia, India, France, Ukraine, the United States and many other countries.

The missing family members of the Chinese MH370 passengers met with officials in Beijing earlier in March to discuss renewable research on debris and express their hopes in independent research. Some relatives expressed their frustration due to the lack of direct communication from the Malaysian authorities.

“I promised to know immediately (but) we can only know this type of news online,” Erio, a 68 -year -old father, told me.

“You don’t know many families even how to access this information, so they are completely unaware,” he told AFP.

The sad families gathered outside the Malaysian embassy in Beijing on the eleventh anniversary of the disappearance of the trip earlier this month, chanting: “Our loved ones have brought us back!”

Cheng Laipling, whose husband in Malaysia was to shoot a movie and was returning to China on MH370, said she hoped that Beijing would communicate more with Malaysia to reveal the truth.

“Everyone has left pain,” she told reporters. “What happened exactly is still unknown.”

The new research pushed mixed reactions from passenger families when it was announced in December – with some described it as a step towards closing, while others describe the news as sweet and bitter.
