The ongoing brand dispute between Macrotech developers, led by Abhishek LodgeHouse of Abhinandan Lodha (Hoabl), headed by Abhinandan Lodha, may intensify. Macrotech Hoabl was accused of committing forgery and creating fake documents in an attempt to take advantage of the brand name “Lodha”.
In the latest organizational disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 2, Macrotech developers confirmed that the entities associated with HOABL have used fake board decisions and a fabricated introduction to obtaining approval to change companies’ names to include “Lodha”.
The company claimed that no such meeting was held and stated that the decisions were not circulated or supported by its managers.
“The company’s board meeting has not been held on the date that was mentioned in this BRS and the company’s council has never thought about any of the BRS in any of its meetings at all.”
In response, Lodha Ventures said, in a statement, “This is by referring to today’s file by Macrotech developers limited to stock exchanges. We are looking internally on the matter and we will return to our detailed response.
In January, Macrotech developers began legal actions against Hoabl in the Pombay Supreme Court due to the violation of brands. The lawsuit seeks restraint relief, damage and other appropriate treatments.
Macrotech developers, famous for selling real estate under the “Lodha” sign, is a prominent player in the real estate industry. On the other hand, HOABL specializes in developing residential conspiracies in various major cities.
The alleged fake decisions contain a “no objection” from Macrotech, as they have given permission to HOABL entities to use the brand “Lodha”. It was also found that the signing of an independent director in these documents was formulated, and the director confirmed when discovering that both signing and a copy of the PAN card listed in the application were fraudulent.
He claims that at least two companies are linked to Hoabl to modify its recorded names to integrate “Lodha” after submitting these forged documents.
In response to these allegations, the Macrotech Council formed a special committee for managers to conduct a comprehensive investigation and follow up on legal asylum. It is worth noting that Abhishek Lodha has excused himself from the committee to ensure a neutral examination of this issue.
