Liverpool was linked to a step for Argentine international striker Julian Alvarez at the end of the season.

The 25 -year -old has achieved good since he moved to Atletico Madrid and has 23 goals and five assists for his name in all competitions. He previously showed his quality in the Premier League with Manchester City and helped them in great prizes.

Liverpool is looking to improve their attack unit They identified the Argentine international as a possible goal. Previous scouts in the Premier League Mick Brown has now revealed football from the inside Liverpool looks at South America as a possible option, but they have not made a tangible proposal to sign it yet.

He also added that this step appears to be unlikely, and Liverpool may have to look at other options in the summer.

Brown said: “I heard about a possible step to Liverpool, but only one year after leaving the city, I am not convinced that he is likely to happen,” Brown said.

“I think it is one who looked at him to see if it might be an option, but it did not disappear.

“He has settled and happy where he is at the present time, I don’t think he is looking forward to moving.

In addition, ATLETICO MADRID will not want to sell, it should be a huge deal.

The signature of the quality striker should be a top priority for Liverpool during the summer transport window. Darwin Nunez was disappointing and was unable to score goals continuously. Likewise, it seems that Diogo Jota has lost a touch of goals after returning from injury.

Person Variz can make a big difference in the last third. He is able to work as a position forward as well as a wide player. It will be a variety of additional bonus for Liverpool if they can complete the deal.

However, he has a long -term contract with Atletico Madrid and will not want the Spanish uniform to lose it easily. The step appears to be not likely in the near future.
