Life in Aleppo has been returning to normal since the ouster of former President Bashar al-Assad about a week ago. “The streets are bustling with people and traffic going about their business, repairing damage caused by the conflict and removing signs and symbols of the Assad regime,” said France 24 journalist Andrew Hilliar from the city in northern Syria.
