Liam Lawson: Red Ball is studying New Zealand swap with Yuki Tsunouda for the Great Japanese race F1 news

Red Bull is seriously considering replacing Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunouda for the Great Japanese race, Sky Sports News Understand.

Lawson has a poor start to his professional life in Red Bull, where he was expelled in the first stage of the three qualified sessions (including one in the enemy’s shape) and also showing the lack of a race pace, most notably the relative success of his teammate Max Versaben.

Red Paul chose to promote Lawson of the junior bull team in the race race after only 11 games in the Grand Prix in two short spells through 2023 and 2024, in favor of the 23 -year -old for his former teammate Yuki Tsunoda.

When he was asked about his own press conference two hours after the Sunday race in China, Horner, Red Ball team manager, chose not to refuse the report as a liar.

“I think Liam had a couple of racing, a difficult weekend here. We were elected to take it out of the network from Parc Ferme to make a major change in preparation, so we managed to get 56 rolls of reasonable data from that,” Horner said.

“Obviously, we will take it away, we will take a good look at it, and as a group, we will do our best to support it.

“Liam is clearly fighting confidence with the car at the present time, and for this reason we have made some important changes to see if we can find a more inspiring group of confidence.”

Lawson said Sky SPORTS F1.

“Unfortunately, this is not something we did, but there is nothing we can do. It’s just one of these things. It’s not an excuse, just something I have to get.”

Horner: I feel sorry for Lawson

While Horner was keen to avoid making any final statements during the briefing, some of his statements about Lucon’s struggles indicated great anxiety within the team.

“I think Liam still has potential,” Horner said. “We don’t realize that he is now. I think the problem is for him, he had really difficult weekends, he got all the media on his back,” Horner said.

“The pressure grows naturally in this work, and I feel very sorry for it. You can see that it is very difficult at the present time.

“He is a young man, we have a duty to take care of him and we will do our best to support him.

“Liam is still a very capable driver. We know that, for any reason, we don’t see it able to present it at the moment.”

The opening race for this season came in the circles that did not compete in Lawson before, but Horner seemed to reject this as an excuse for his struggles.

He said, “I think these men are waking up very quickly. We will continue to evaluate them. We have a set of data to go and look at it. That’s what we will do.”

Tsunuda in a line to summon the late?

Tsunouda has publicly expressed his frustration with condoning the promotion, but allowed his leadership to speak in the early stages of the season.

While some severe calamity saw him, the points in both the first Grands Prix were aggravated, he qualified well and recorded an impressive end in SPRINT on Saturday.

In response to a question about the start of Tsunouda for this season, Horner said: “Yuki is an experienced driver now is doing a great job. He was fortunate, which I could see from the race conspiracies, with the strategy and a front issue today, but again, he was at the end of last week to do a good job.”

TSUNDA had the opportunity to lead the RB20 for the 2024 Verstapen drivers in ABU DHABI last year, but it was widely reported that Red Bull has already decided to replace Sergio Perez departure with Lawson.

Horner was asked if Tsunoda’s performance in this test would be more useful than the shape of the race bulls in understanding whether it is better to deal with Red Bull than Lucon’s have done so far.

He said: “You look at the information, look at the data, and in the end there are 400 engineers in our team who all roam in 600 sensors on the car, so there is a lot of information we have.

“Yuki took a test for us, tested it well. It is a useful data set, but that’s all it is. You have to always look at the broader picture.”
