Ms Montague was sentenced to one year and one day in prison with an additional day given for “good time”, according to the judge. Hajia 4Reall’s defense team suggested that she should be able to return to Ghana immediately upon her release, without any ICE detention.
The socialite’s lawyers initially requested a three-month prison sentence, highlighting her responsibilities as a single parent and the importance of her presence in her child’s life.
The US Attorney’s Office, on the other hand, pushed for the full 37-month term, citing previous cases and emphasizing the importance of a strong deterrent.

Hajia4Reall was arrested for her role in a $2 romance scam.
