Founder and Chairman of the Forum for Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (FIITJEE), DK Goel, is at the center of controversy after a video allegedly showing mistreatment of employees during an official online Zoom meeting surfaced.

The coaching institute, known for preparing students for IIT-JEE, has already been in the limelight over allegations of delayed salaries of employees and a toxic work culture.

In the video, which went viral on Instagram, DK Goel was seen participating in a virtual meeting with the heads of various centres. During the session, he can be heard shouting and using abusive language towards the participants.

The video was posted on December 1 by Dalims Newsnews platform, with the caption: “FIITJEE Chairman DK Goel faces allegations of using offensive language during salary disputes with employees. An alarming reflection on workplace ethics and treatment of employees.”

A longer clip of FIITJEE president DK Goel’s online meeting has surfaced on YouTube, shedding more light on the alleged verbal abuse during the session with his colleagues.

In the video, a participant from Thane branch raised a question about the financial decisions taken by FIITJEE Edfora during a challenging period, asking: “FIITJEE Edfora invested Rs 142 crore in other edtech industry during the turmoil.”

This question seemed to make Joel angry. His reaction was harsh, screaming “Useless people… What kind of people are these? Do you know the name of your father, the person who wrote this? Nonsense. Go ask your mother who your father is. Nonsense people. Why don’t you talk about Adani investing so much money?”

As his outburst continued, Joel shouted: “Who is this bloody person? Expel him from Mumbai.” Amid this commotion, another participant tried to calm him down, saying: “Why are you angry? If it’s wrong…say it politely.” However, Joel responded by calling Person A “cad” And notice, “Obscension ki had hai (This is the extreme of obscenity). Whoever this person is, I don’t want to see him in FIITJEE.”

In the video, FIITJEE President DK Goel is seen reacting very angrily and using extremely abusive language during the meeting. At one point, he shouted in frustration: “If you are your father’s son, prove that Edfora has invested Rs 142 crore…if you are your father’s son.”

When the person asking the question mentioned that investment-related information was publicly available, Joel exploded even more, spewing abuse: “Madvertisementthe chapterD, there is a lot in the public domain bD you see. Your motherR. for** D. Son of a dog. “It’s a lot of negative cheese.”

When another participant tried to interject, saying it was just a question, Joel prompted: “Manish ji, please expel this person from FIITJEE, I don’t want to see such people. Please take legal action. I am doing this, and this person is saying things like this?”

Joel’s comments escalated to more extreme statements, saying: “Your mother must be from the red light district. I am saying your mother must be from the red light district, go and complain to the court because I said this. Eek aadmi ki tolerance ki had hoti hai (There is a limit to a man’s tolerance).”

The video was shared on platforms like LinkedIn and Reddit, where it went viral. Many users called it an example of the allegedly toxic work environment at FIITJEE, claiming that such incidents are not new. However, these claims are still not officially confirmed.
