The chief judge in India, Sanjev Khana, held a meeting with representatives of many lawyers on Thursday to discuss the proposed transfer to Judge Yashwant Pharma from the Supreme Court in Delhi to the Supreme Court in God Abad. CJI assured lawyers that their request will be considered to withdraw the college recommendation.

The meeting was defended by a memorandum submitted by lawyers associations from the Supreme Courts in God Abad, Gujarat, Kerala, Gabbour, Karnataka, and Locoao, who urged the withdrawal of the recommendation of the transfer of cholesterium.

The sources told the PTI news agency that the CJI office contacted the representatives of the legal bodies to attend a meeting with Judge Khanna at approximately 1.45 pm. They met BR Gavai, Surya Kant, Abhay S OKA and Vikram Nath judges, regardless of CJI.

Lawyers’ associations raised concerns about the alleged tampering of evidence at the official residence of Judge Pharma. On March 14, during a fire accident at his home in Lutins Delhi, burning money was discovered. Questions arose regarding non -registration for the first information report on the incident, adding to the controversial nature of the proposed transfer.

The controversy motivated the Higher Lawyers Association in God, to start an unspecified strike from March 25.

In response to the ongoing situation, Coligium recommended the Supreme Court to return Judge Pharma to the Supreme Parents Court. This recommendation came after the work burden was reset after the CJI directed.

In addition, a committee of three members was formed on March 22 to conduct an internal investigation into these allegations. The investigation report issued by the President of the Supreme Court DK Upadhyy from the Supreme Court in Delhi will be announced in the aftermath of the investigation.

Judge Pharma publicly denied allegations against him, saying: “No money was placed in the store either by him or any of his family members.” The investigation aims to address these allegations and provide clarity on this issue.
