Veteran Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the third Test match against the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). Josh Hazlewood, who has returned to the starting lineup, will likely miss the rest of the series with a calf injury suffered during Day 4.
Hazlewood was forced to leave the field on the fourth day of the third Test due to a calf problem. Tests were conducted on him to determine the severity of the injury. Hazlewood was not at his usual best while bowling. Before leaving with the Australian team’s physiotherapist, he had a long discussion with Pat Cummins and Steve Smith.
