John Higgens defeated Mark Silby in the final of the round championship
John Higgins won five consecutive tires to beat Mark Silby 10-8 in the final tournament final of what he described as the best victory in his long career.
Silby had previously won seven tires in a row to move within two victory, but Higgins dug and bound his opponent only 18 points in the last five tires.
“It is my best victory ever,” said Higgins, who ended up waiting for a four -year -old classification title in World Open last month in China.

“I was playing an incredible hero and it seemed as if he could not miss, he was linking me with a knot. To do this against Mark, giving me an incredible belief that I could still mix her with the best players.”

He continued the momentum in the evening, which is the 119th break in the thirteenth frame, taking it 8-5 forward.
But Higgins responded with the convenience of 110 the next day and went on to equal before he achieved victory at 84 and 132 breaks.
The eighth and last century of the match were equivalent to the record for the best frame of 19.
