Joe Joyce was defeated by a unanimous decision to harden Hrgovic when he returned to the ring in Manchester on Saturday.

He fought for the first time since Derek Cisura was defeated in July 2024, 39-year-old British lost a narrow battle where Hargovic grew in hegemony, and got tens of 97-93, 96-95, 98-92 for his favor by judges after ten rounds.

Joyce was originally assumed to fight Dolian White in a comprehensive British relationship, but the finger injury that the latter suffered witnessed a late Hrgovic step.

The 32 -year -old Croatian has not been fighting since the defeat of Daniel Dubua in June, in what was the first professional loss in his career after 18 seizures until this point. His record now reads 18-1 after defeating Louis.

The British Joyce was looking to restore his career in the right track after three defeats in the last four years, the last of which was to Derek Cisura in July

In response to a question about whether he is thinking about retirement after what is now four defeats in his last five battles, Joyce said: “Are you not fun? It was a good battle and it was difficult.

“He is a great fighter, he was doing it for a long time. We can do it again.”

Meanwhile, Hargovic said he put his eyes on a match match with Dubua.

“This man beat Dubua and hit him, so I want to return a match with Daniel Dubua,” he said.

“I was very bad in my last battle, but our congratulations to him and did a great job in his last battle. Of course I want to re -take it back.

“Thanks to the atmosphere for this opportunity. I came to a short notice, I was not completely prepared. I am really happy to return and look forward to great battles in the future.

“This man is like steel, I couldn’t believe that he took all the shots. He is a difficult man, a monster, very strong.”
