Thousands of students chanting angry slogans on the streets of Istanbul on Tuesday, where a press court was imprisoned for Agence France -Presse and six others to cover the biggest protests to strike Türkiye for more than a decade. The demonstrations erupted after the arrest of the mayor of Istanbul, the president of the head of the president, in a campaign that saw more than 1,400 people arrested, including 11 Turkish journalists.
