Israel will remain in Gaza “security areas” after the war

The Israeli Minister of Defense said that the forces will remain in the so -called security areas that they created by seizing large areas of Gaza even after the war ended.

Israel Katz said that the areas will provide a “buffer” to protect Israeli societies “in any temporary or permanent position”, and that “tens of percent” of the Palestinian territories have been added since the Israeli attack resumed three weeks ago.

He said that Israel will continue its blockade for six weeks of humanitarian aid to pressure Hamas to release the hostages, despite the warning of the United Nations of the “destructive” consequences.

Meanwhile, hospital officials said that at least 24 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes throughout Gaza on Wednesday.

Most of the dead killed were in Gaza City, in the north.

Among them are 10 members of the Hasuna family, most of them children and women. One of them was Fatima Hasuna – a young writer and photographer.

The BBC asked the Israeli army to comment on the strike.

The Hamas Civil Defense Agency also said that two people were killed in an Israeli blow to the tents for the displaced families at Yarmouk Stadium, to the northwest, on Tuesday evening.

This added two other people after a strike in a camp near the southern city of Khan Yunis.

The Hamas -running Ministry of Health in Gaza said that more than 1650 people have been killed since the war resumes on March 18.

The United Nations said that 69 % of the region is now subject to active Israeli military evacuation orders, within the “unavailable” area along the border with Israel, Egypt, the Gaza Valley Valley, south of Gaza City, or both. I estimated 500,000 people again, with no safe place to go.

Katz also explained that Israel will at the same time to keep its siege.
