YouTuber Nalini Unagar has taken the tough decision to stop creating content after investing over Rs 8 lakh in her cooking channel, Nalini’s Kitchen Recipe, over the past three years. This announcement comes after she revealed that her efforts did not generate any income from YouTube.

In a series of posts on X, Nalini detailed her journey and the challenges she faced, noting that she now sells her kitchen accessories and studio equipment. “I failed in my YouTube career, so I’m selling all my kitchen accessories and studio equipment. If anyone is interested in purchasing, please let me know,” she wrote.

In a follow-up post, Nalini shared the financial losses of her venture, admitting, “I invested close to Rs 8 lakh in my YouTube channel to build a kitchen, purchase studio equipment, and promotions. return? 0 rupees.”

Her candid posts resonated with many users, quickly sparking a discussion about the difficulties of succeeding in the online content industry. Despite receiving encouragement from fans who urged her to continue, Nalini explained her reasons for quitting. “I dedicated 3 years to YouTube, and created over 250 videos. However, I didn’t get the response I was hoping for, so I finally decided to stop producing videos and deleted all my content from the platform.

Nalini stressed the unpredictability of online platforms, noting that “your ‘shop’ can close before you even wake up the next day.”
