A strong earthquake near Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar, on Friday, hit the destruction or collapse of bridges and buildings through a group of Southeast Asia, killing nearly 150 people in Myanmar and wounding more than 700 other people in only three cities, according to the Myanmar military government.
The 7.7-Magnitud earthquake hit one in the afternoon directly local time, and followed a strong tremor 6.4 degrees after 11 minutes. The shaking was felt in southern China and Vietnam, and away from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, where a 30 -storey skyscraper collapsed under construction, killing at least seven people.
The details of the victims and the damage in Myanmar, which was destroyed by a four -year civil war, were not immediately clear. In Bangkok, people were immersed in the streets for fear of subsequent tremors, the traffic was in complete stopping, and the water videos that rise from pools on the roof of hotels and residential towers.
