In the pictures: an earthquake that shakes Myanmar and Thailand

A strong earthquake near Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar, on Friday, hit the destruction or collapse of bridges and buildings through a group of Southeast Asia, killing nearly 150 people in Myanmar and wounding more than 700 other people in only three cities, according to the Myanmar military government.

The 7.7-Magnitud earthquake hit one in the afternoon directly local time, and followed a strong tremor 6.4 degrees after 11 minutes. The shaking was felt in southern China and Vietnam, and away from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, where a 30 -storey skyscraper collapsed under construction, killing at least seven people.

The details of the victims and the damage in Myanmar, which was destroyed by a four -year civil war, were not immediately clear.
