Dan Bern says he believes his chance to play in England may not come but now targets a place in the World Cup.
The 32 -year -old got the week, as the opening goal in the Newcastle League Cup victory scored on Liverpool before joining the Thomas Tuchille I England.
Just seven years ago, Bern was playing in the first league, his career witnessed episodes with Darlington, Juve and Wigan before moving to the Premier League.
He said, “I think I have been ignored, but I understood it.”
“When the new manager came, there was a clean list, but as soon as it was passed through many international breaks, you accept the time when the time passed, but fortunately, the new director took me.
“Maybe it made me very flexible.
“I first appeared in the Premier League in 21 and three years after Fulham launched it, so I feel it made me stronger.
“I doubted my career.
Bern said his goal is to secure his place in Tuchel plans for the World Cup and appear at the largest football stage.
He added: “I try to take it in the camp at the present time.
“But it is clear that every child’s dream is to play in the World Cup or even play for your country, so I know that I have this opportunity, if I take it, this is a special matter.”
