Hundreds were injured in a major explosion in the port of Shahid Raji

At least 400 people were injured in a huge explosion in a port in the Iranian -Iranian -Iranian city of Bandar Abbas.

The explosion was erected in the Shahid Raji district, Mort, on Saturday morning, which led to the shattering of the windows of the nearby offices.

No death has been confirmed yet, but footage showed that people who are lying on the street and there are reports that people are trapped under semi -polluted buildings.

A large fire is still raging on the site and shots that escalate black clouds appear over the port area.

Officials told state television that the explosion had been focused in the port, as many non -competent containers exploded.

“The source of this incident was the explosion of many containers stored in the Shahid Rajai Warf area,” a crisis management official said.

Iranian government media reported that the explosion was so large that it had damaged buildings and cars in the vicinity. The residents also reported that the explosion was heard from several kilometers.

The authorities said that the workers were rushing to evacuate and transfer the injured to hospitals.
