Saturday 14 December. TMZ published an exclusive report confirming that Foxx celebrated his 57th birthday with a dinner at Mr. Chow on Friday, December 13. Furthermore, the outlet reported that at the Beverly Hills establishment, Foxx was allegedly “involved in a fight.”
According to the outlet, Foxx had left the scene by the time police arrived. Additionally, initial details about what exactly happened remained vague.
However, later that evening, a spokesperson for Foxx shared a statement with the outlet about the alleged incident.
“Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass, hitting him in the mouth. He had to get stitches and is recovering. Police were called, and the matter is now in the hands of law enforcement,” the statement read.
Additionally, a witness reportedly told the outlet that customers at a table near Fox were “rude and vulgar” with the actor. When Fox asked them to stop the antics, one of the people at the table allegedly “threw a glass that hit him in the face.”

Over the weekend, Foxx took to his Instagram account to share a Text sharing In response to news reports. Furthermore, the actor shared a black background with text written on it, “The devil is busy…but I’m too lucky not to be stressed.”
