London fire brigade sent firefighters to treat a large fire at an electrical sub -station in Hayes, near Heathrow, late on Thursday.
“This is a very clear and important accident, and our firefighters are working tirelessly in difficult circumstances to control the fire as soon as possible,” said Pat Gulporen’s firefighter assistant in London.
“This will be a long accident, with team crews staying at the scene overnight. We go to the morning, the disruption is expected to increase, and we urge people to avoid the area whenever possible.”
A 200 -meter collar was created throughout the region and about 150 people were evacuated, according to the firefighting service.
The fire brigade added that the cause of the fire was not known.
