Google portfolio to add support for digital identifiers in more cases

Google announced on Tuesday that digital identifiers reach more states and services in Google Wallet. The company also shared that the portfolio gets a way to check the age in particular and that the application expands to 50 other countries.

Residents in Arkansas, Montana, Puerto Rico will be able to save their digital government’s digital knowledge to the Google Wallet. In addition, people in the state of Arizona, Georgia, Maryland, and New Mexico will be able to use their mobile knowledge in DMV.

As the deadline for the real identifier approaches May 7, 2025, Google notes that you can use a identified pass from your passport in the United States to pass the TSA Security for local travel in the backed airports, even if you do not have a real or identifier driving license issued by the state. However, the passage of your identity is not an alternative to your actual knowledge, so you still have to keep it with you.

Users will also soon be able to use their digital identifier to restore Amazon accounts, access online health services with CVS and mychart by EPIC, check the definition files on platforms like Uber, and more.

In addition, Google puts the UK population’s ability to create digital dignitarian passes with their passports in the UK and store them safely in Google Wallet.

Since checking is required through many websites and services, Google says it wants to create a verification system that is not achieved only from the ages of users but also protects their privacy throughout the process. To achieve this, Google integrates the Zero -Zero -Evidence Technology (ZKP) into the Google Portfolio.

This integration of Google will allow the provision of rapid age verification via mobile devices, applications and web sites that use their digital accreditation applications interface. The company will use ZKP in other Google products and partnership with applications like Bumble, which will use digital knowledge from Google Wallet to check user identity and ZKP to check age. Google will also open a ZKP technology on other portfolios and online services.
