From CEO to the client: Pawan Goenka buys his first EV from Mahindra, Anand Mahindra says, “He enjoys fruits from his work.”

When Pawan Goenka, the former administrative director and executive director of Mahindra & Maahindra, bought his first electric car – Maahindra Xuv 9E, was a symbolic homeland. The purchase was not just a personal decision, but a reflection of the deep attachment of Gwnca with the development of Mahindra in the automotive industry.

Anand Mahindra, head of the Mahindra Group, moved to X to share his heartfelt feelings on Gwnca’s decision, saying: “This is not just another video for me.” Recall the trip they participated, from the first days of Goenka in Mahindra to his pivotal role in forming the company’s legacy.

Joinka joined Mahandra and Mahindra in 1993 after leaving General Motors in the United States. Initially he was hesitant in research and development facilities in Mahandra in Nashk, thinking about returning. “Often he calls how when he went to your discussion for the first time and saw research and development” shed “and his primitive condition, he began to question his decision to return.”

However, Joinka remained, and faced the challenge as the Vice President of Research and Development. After retiring from Mahandra, Gwnca continued his influence on the technology and space sectors, where he worked as head of Inspace. It also holds leadership positions at Iit Madras and the Indian Federation.

Thinking about the last purchase of Goenka, it called Mahindra a very emotional moment. “When I see Puan and his wife Mamta buy one of our first electrical -origin all -wheel drive vehicles, I was flooded with emotions and work memories next to him,” Share.

Mahandra perfectly summarized this moment: “I see a man who can be proud to help push the Indian auto industry to the future. I see a man who suffers from the fruits of his work.”

For Goenka, this is more than just buying a car-it is a reflection of its decades-long journey with Mahindra and his constant commitment to innovation.
