French actor Gerard Depardio tried the Monday in Paris on charges of sexual assault on two women in a group of films, in case he is seen as the potential water gatherings of #Metoo in France.
Depaardieu, 76, accused of touching a 54 -year -old track and 34 -year -old assistant director while filming in 2021 of Green shutters ((Green shutters).

He was publicly accused or in official complaints of misconduct by more than 20 women, but no other case was directed to the court. Some were dropped due to lack of evidence or limitations.
In a separate case, French actor Charlotte Arnold Depardio was accused of raping two rapes he committed in August 2018. In 2020, Depardio was accused of rape and sexual assault in that case, and in August the prosecutors asked to go to trial. The judge has not taken the decision yet.
In an open letter published in Le Figaro in October 2023, DePardieu wrote: “I have never misunderstood, but I did not misuse a woman.”
