France and Algeria will resume diplomatic talks on Sunday in a sign of a possible dissolution of tensions after months of loud exchanges that were exposed to Paris economic interests in its previous colony. Relations deteriorated when Macron supported a plan for the autonomy of the Western Sahara region under Moroccan sovereignty. France 24, journalist Sherley Citton explains.
