A regional president said that four people were killed and injured in a mass attack in the central Ukrainian city of Dnibro.

Sirhi Lizak said that the restaurant complex and many residential buildings were burning after the attack late Friday.

He said that “the enemy sent more than 20 drones” to the city, and that “most of them were shot down.”

The photos and videos later appeared firefighters who treat large fires in the buildings, and shattered the broken glass and other debris spread in the city’s streets.

Overnight, I heard the alarm whistles appearing in many other Ukrainian regions, including the capital Kiev. It was not immediately clear if there were any victims.

The Russian army did not comment on this issue.

In his late video speech on Friday, Ukrainian President Voludimir Zelinski accused Russia once again by targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure – in a violation of the two temporary intercessions agreed earlier this month in talks related to the United States.

Moscow has also blamed Ukraine over and over again in attacking the energy sector in Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested earlier this week that Ukraine should be temporarily placed under the control of the United Nations To elect what he called a more “efficient” government.

It was seen as the last attempt by the Kremlin to challenge the legitimacy of the Kiev government – a step conducted by Ukraine’s allies on a large scale.

Ukraine has accused Putin of proposing “crazy” ideas to delay more movement towards the ceasefire deal that US President Donald Trump is defending.

On Tuesday, Washington said that the two sides agreed to a limited truce in the Black Sea.

But Russia then put up a list of conditions, including lifting some Western sanctions, which raised fears that Moscow was trying to get any moves towards the ceasefire.

In a separate development, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that France and the United Kingdom have made plans to reassure “in Ukraine.

The proposal was discussed at a summit in Paris from a “alliance of those who wish” – Ukraine allies from more than 30 countries.

Russia has repeatedly warned that the deployment of any European forces in Ukraine is unacceptable, and that the forces will be seen by the Kremlin as a legitimate goal.

Russia launched a large -scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, and Moscow is currently controlling about 20 % of Ukrainian lands.
