The tab, which is initially available in the United States and Canada, will display the content of friends, including their publications, operations, stories, birthdays, and friendship requests.

Previously, the tab has only provided a place to display friendships and other “people you may know”.

The company says that the new friends tab is available through the home summary navigation bar and will be available through the reference signals section in the application.
