Footage shows survivors walking from the crashed Azerbaijani plane

Footage shows survivors being walked and pulled away from the back of the crashed Azerbaijan Airlines plane.

Wednesday’s flight was diverted from Baku to Grozny in the Russian Republic of Chechnya via the Caspian Sea and landed near the city of Aktau in western Kazakhstan.

Some aviation experts suggested that the air defense systems were hit. Russia says it will wait for the results of the investigation before commenting.

Twenty-nine of the 67 people on board survived. Azerbaijan held a national day of mourning on Thursday for the victims.
