The suspected killer of the UnitedHealth Care CEO has been arrested with incriminating materials

Mangione was arrested Monday at a McDonald’s restaurant in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after police received a tip from someone who recognized him from a photo they sent.
During the arrest, police found a statement detailing his motives and grievances against American companies.
They also found a gun and a suppressive device similar to the one seen in CCTV footage of the crime. The gun has been identified as a “ghost gun” that can be assembled at home and may have been manufactured using a 3D printer.
Mangione was also found with a fake New Jersey ID, similar to the one the killer used at a Manhattan motel, as well as clothing matching what the suspect was wearing on the day of the crime.

Police matched bullet casings to suspect Luigi Mangione’s gun

Recent reports have revealed that forensic investigators have made findings that may further incriminate Mangione.
According to the results, the bullet casings found at the scene of Thompson’s murder on December 4 in midtown Manhattan matched the bullet casings found in Mangione.
“We were able to match this weapon to the three shell casings we found downtown at the crime scene,” New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said in a statement. Yahoo.
According to the commissioner, Mangione apparently left behind forensic evidence recovered from other items at the scene.
“NYPD investigators were also able to match Mangione’s fingerprints to those found on a water bottle and energy bar recovered from the scene,” Tisch added.

The CEO’s alleged shooter was arraigned on multiple charges

According to reports, Mangione was arraigned in Pennsylvania on multiple charges after his arrest.
Charges include forgery, carrying an unlicensed firearm, providing false identification to law enforcement officials, tampering with records or identity, and possession of “instruments of crime.”
In New York, where the crime occurred, Mangione faces murder charges as well as a number of additional crimes.
Authorities in the state are currently arranging Mangione’s extradition, but the process could take weeks because he strongly opposes the transfer.
Where is Luigi Mangione being held?

Meanwhile, Mangione is being held in Pennsylvania State Prison after being denied bail on Tuesday.
He is represented by defense attorney Tom Dickey, who has since revealed that Mangione will plead not guilty to any of the charges brought against him by authorities in Pennsylvania.
