Oscar Pastari Australia was placed at the top of the Formula One World Championship for the first time since 2010.
Oscar Pastari of McLaren wandered around the Saudi Grand Preges Formula in the Grand Prix to move to the driver championship after five races in the season.
The 24 -year -old became the first driver this season to win while he did not start on the pole, and he ended comfortably the race before runner -up Max Versaben from Red Ball, who got a five -second penalty kick to leave the path and gain a feature in the opening lap of the race on Sunday.
Charles Licerlerk ranked third to give Ferrari its first platform from the season. Lando Norris ranked his teammate in the fourth place, while George Russell from Mercedes ranked fifth and Kimi Antonelle ranked sixth.
With his third victory for this season, and the second in a row after winning in Bahrain last week, PiaSSTRi became the first driver from Australia to lead the driver championship since Mark Weber in 2010. It is the first time that PiaSSTRi has led the drivers’ ranking in his career in F1.
Ultimately, PiaSSTRI, who started the race from second place on the start network, eventually won the course of 6.1 km (3.8 miles) after Verstapen served a five -second penalty with a stop point in the Roll 22. He finished winning in the fifth world at the start of the World Championship.
In addition to the 2025 -winning victories in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, PiaSSTRI also won the second race for this season in China. McLaren won four of the five races after Norris won the opening race in Australia.
The second place came in Verstapen after winning the Grand Prix in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the past two years.
In the drivers championship, PiaSSTRI scored 99 points to 89 points and Verstapen’s 87.
