What is the F1 Academy?

The F1 Academy was launched in November 2022 by Formula 1 with the aim of preparing and developing drivers to enable them to advance to higher levels of competition.

This category is designed to provide more access to time tracking, race and testing, as well as support with technical, physical and mental preparations.

It is hoped that the F1 Academy will provide experience to apply to format 3, and help provide Formula 2 and Formula 1 opportunities in the future.

Suzy Wolf, a former development driver of Williams F1, and the last woman who is leading in a F1 training course 11 years ago, is returning in the series as an administrative director.
