Writer and model Elon Musk’s mother, May Musk, reacts to her son’s net worth and increased interest around her family, and says America is heading toward an “honest” future.
Elon Musk’s mother, May Musk, has revealed more details about her son and President-elect Trump’s relationship, as they spend more time together ahead of Inauguration Day next month.
“They get along well,” May told FOX Business’ Neil Cavuto.Cavuto: Coast to coast” Thursday .
“I think Trump likes someone he can completely trust and doesn’t have any alternative motives,” she continued.
Her son, Elon, has made more formal appearances with the president-elect and even on Capitol Hill where the Tesla, SpaceX and Neuralink founder was tapped for the first-ever co-chair of the state Department of Efficiency.

Recent photos of Elon and Trump have gone viral, including one Mar-a-Lago Thanksgiving Dinners, being together for SpaceX rocket launches and even a UFC heavyweight match.
And over the Thanksgiving holiday in particular, May noted that Trump’s son Elon and Barron were bonding over out-of-this-world exploration.
“At Thanksgiving dinner, Barron and Elon were talking about planets,” she said. “(Barron) is 18 years old. They were discussing all the different planets and why Mars is the best place to start a new civilization. I was very impressed with him as well.”
Elon Musk’s mother, May Musk, comments on her son’s role in the Trump White House, media criticism of his unconventional business practices, and how it was like paving her own way to raise a billionaire industry leader.
May claimed her son wants to “do good things” for America, and that Trump has been “honest and open” about his executive proposals.
“I think Trump just wants everything to be honest and open so you know where you stand Tax dollars are going. “He’s not going to be mean to people. When I see him, he seems happy that he can make changes that will improve (the lives of) Americans. I think we would all be happier,” May said.
As her son became closer to Trump himself, so did May, who claimed she was about to “meet several members of the Trump family.”

Elon Musk’s mother, May Musk, joined The Bottom Line to talk about how she became a Republican.
But there’s that first family member she’s most looking forward to getting to know better.
“Everyone is cheerful, kind, kind, generous, interesting and soft-spoken, which is interesting because, as politicians, you get to speak out,” she noted. “I’ve met Melania. I’m looking forward to spending more time with her, too.”
