Author and model Elon Musk’s mother, May Musk, provides updates on her son’s plans for DOGE and praises his accomplishments, while commenting on Elon’s larger goals of “doing good.”
Elon Musk’s mother, May Musk, expresses pride in her son’s commitment to helping America’s macro economy, explaining that her son’s position as co-chair of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) depends entirely on volunteerism.
“(Elon and Vivek Ramaswamy) also want to share their experiences with (Trump), and they are volunteers, and they don’t need income,” May told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney on Monday.
“They only volunteer to help in specific areas where they have expertise,” she continued. “I glow when I hear all of that.”
Elon and fellow Co-Chairman Ramaswamy have begun dropping hints about where DOGE will focus its efforts on cutting federal spending when the new administration takes office in January.

Musk, the world’s richest person known for his ambitious goals, has set a goal of cutting $2 trillion in federal spending under the initiative, while Ramaswamy, a billionaire himself, said entire agencies would be “deleted.” Under DOGE recommendations.
