Eddie Hao holds talks with the attacker’s goal

After three transport windows without much business, Newcastle is expected to spend a lot of money in the summer. Several areas have been identified as they need to be addressed, with one of that position.

Alexander Issak was strongly linked to Newcastle in the summer, with Arsenal and Liverpool among clubs interested in the Swedish star. But the Carabo Cup winners expect to stay, and their intention is to sign someone to compete next to him, to replace Calum Wilson.

There were many attackers who were linked to the move to Newcastle in the summer, but it seems that the most tangible option at this stage is Liam Delap. There have been positive developments on this front in recent weeks.

As mentioned before TeamtalkNewcastle recently held “very positive” discussions with Delap representatives, as they increase their interest in IPSWich striker. The report also confirmed that director Eddie Hao had spoke personally with the player to clarify the club’s interest.

Delap will definitely be in the event of a transition this summer, with a possibility that it will be activated by the requirement of 30 million pounds by multiple clubs. Proverbs of Man UnitedChelsea and Everton are interested in signing it, but at this point, Newcastle was the one who seemed to have made the biggest progress in the deal.

It remains to see whether Newcastle is able to complete the Delap signature this summer, but there is no doubt that it will be an excellent addition to their team – as well as a clear upgrade to Wilson. But at the present time, there is a lot of work to do – and the clubs’ interest in standing – before you finish anything.
