“Do not come to us …”: Mrs. Grad warns the Indian students of the trap of “Land of Milk and Honey” in the midst of the work crisis

For many Indian students, the dream of studying in the United States is increasingly colliding with a realistic reality. Among the amazing tuition fees and uncertainty in the visa to instability in the labor market and mental health concerns, their external aspirations are tested as it has not happened before. The last Reddit Post has raised a violent debate – echoing increasing concerns about whether the American educational gambling is worth the cost.

One of the Reddit users, claiming that they had a master’s degree in science, seemed frankly: “The training mafia manages a fraud that talks about us as a land of milk and honey. Do not come to us for the next 3-4 years. Students are struggling to get jobs, I have known many Indian students who go to depression. American universities will take your money, and will leave you with huge and creditable debts.”

The post gained the traction speed, with others harmonizing to exchange their dark assessments. One of the users in exchange for the situation in the United Kingdom, saying: “The British economy of jobs has been difficult since 2021 … The Indian sponsor at the present time is worth it only if they were exceptionally (Cambridge/Oxford) … I really see 0 points in studying abroad in England now unless you only want a degree.”

Another sharp shrinkage description in job horizons: “People are accustomed to getting three job offers before graduation until 2022. Now, they do not even have one by more than a year of graduation. Come only if you are rich and want to take great risk as you can lose all the money you pay to the university.”

For those who chase the big returns, the advice was realistic: “Unless you enter into roles or financing from the elite level (quantity, etc.) … The days of mining from easy money have come in us. Standards even that I am tormented are crazy … even in India if you join companies like De Shaw, you will gain good money.”
