Jakub Mensik causes one of the largest disturbances in 2025, formerly defeated Novak Djokovic in Florida.

The Czech teenager Jacob Minky is disturbing childhood idol Novak Djokovic in consecutive groups, 7-6 (7/4), 7-6 (7/4), and both are decided by a tie, to win the Miami open area at the Hard Rock Stadium.

The 19 -year -old, who ranked 54th in the world, won his first ATP title and Djokovic denied his hundred career.

Djokovic, 37, was hoping to join Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103) as the only men in the open era with 100 or more professional addresses, but they were unable to match the speed of the teenager and creative play.

On Sunday’s final was approximately six hours due to heavy rains, and when the players appeared, Djokovic was clearly infected with the eye.

Mensik started strongly, breaking the first Djokovic game to go to 2-0. The tall Czech Republic that served adults was even dominated, at 4-2, Djokovic erupted when Minsik found the network.

The group remained on the service from that time but in the tie, the strong Mensik service, with two AESEs, put responsibility from the start. He opened 5-0 and although he fought Djokovic, the young man sealed the group with a top chase.

Djokovic lost in the entire championship.

The second group was an affair with the absence of any player who is able to break it.

Again, Mensik’s strength has proven decisive in a tie, and when Djokovic went back to his return to victory, he fell on his back.

One for ages

The 37 -year -old Djokovic was the largest team in the Master’s 1000 and the oldest gap at any round level since 1976. Minsik was playing his first ATP 1000 final. He was not two years old when Djokovic won the first title in Miami Open in 2007.

Djokovic beat Minsik in successive groups in Shanghai Asead in October, the only time they met in court.

“The inspiration of tennis is Novak Djokovic. Because of him, I started playing tennis. He is the biggest idol for me,” Minsic told ATP Tour in an interview last year.

Djokovic 307 played at ATP in his career and triumphed in 99 of them. Among the 76 of the four major championships he entered, the Serbian won the men’s record 24.
