Known for her grace and resilience, the “So You Think You Can Dance” graduate channeled her pain into purpose, sharing her story to help others find the light in their darkest moments. In fact, she recently revealed that she had been working on a memoir for years, but put the project on hold after her husband died.

Now she is ready to share her story with the world. The memoir, titled “This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light,” is scheduled to be released on February 8.

The book reflects Allison Holker’s emotional journey after tWitch’s tragic death and her commitment to embracing vulnerability and authenticity.

“I was very fortunate to have the resources that helped me,” she said. “I’ve learned that there are a lot of other resources that a lot of people don’t know about. I’ve had a lot of people reach out to me who need to talk, and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that mental health can affect anyone at any time in their life.”

Holker stressed the importance of providing space for those in need. “It’s important to be an open vessel when someone is going through a difficult time. Listen to them, allow them to be themselves in that moment, and don’t make them feel like it’s wrong,” she explained. “People who have a lot of light have gone through a lot of darkness. And that’s a good thing because you can’t have one without the other.”

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, a beloved dancer, actor and television personality, was widely known for his role as a DJ on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and his appearances on “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Shortly after the news broke, Holker issued a statement to People magazine. “It is with great sadness that I must join my husband Stephen who has left us,” she said. “Steven lit up every room he entered. He valued family, friends and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”
