One of her vetoes showed that a student from the American American University of Colombia, a resident of the US permanent legal and participating in the protests supporting the Palestinians, filed a lawsuit against the administration of US President Donald Trump on Monday to prevent its deportation.

Yunseo Chung, 21, has lived in the United States since she was seven years old, but her legal team was informed two weeks ago that her permanent legal resident status has been canceled, according to the Court of Court in the US District Court of the southern region of New York.

The Trump administration says its American presence hinders the foreign policy agenda, according to the lawsuit. Chung has not yet been arrested. Immigration agents have made multiple visits to her housing.

The lawsuit said on Monday that the measures against Chung “are part of a more pattern of attempts to suppress the US government for a constitutional protest activity and other forms of speech.”

“The government’s repression exactly focused on university students who speak in solidarity with the Palestinians and who criticize the continuous military campaign of the Israeli government in Gaza.”

A spokeswoman for the US Department of Internal Security (DHS) claimed that Chung had participated in behavior, including when the police arrested during a protest at the Bernard College that the National Security Ministry was described as a “pro -welding”.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Security did not explain the details of this concerned behavior, but she said that she “sought removal procedures under immigration laws” and will have an opportunity to present her case before the immigration judge.

Trump pledged to deport foreign demonstrators supporting the Palestinians and accused them of supporting the armed group Hamas, and forming obstacles to American foreign policy and being anti -Semitic.

The demonstrators, including some Jewish groups, say that the administration is mistakenly mixing their criticism of Israel and supporting Palestinian rights with anti -Semitism and supporting Hamas. Human rights defenders condemned government movements.
